on how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies.
Also includes CPR and Chocking for adult, child, and infant, and AED, and Environmental Emergencies.
Class agenda includes video instruction, lecture, hands on with manikins and AED
equipment and test.

Part 1 of this online renewal course includes a series of modules covering all required sequences for the American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED course, as well as the required exam. Those who successfully complete Part 1 receive a certificate that allows them entrance to Part 2, a hand-on Skills Testing Session led by an AHA instructor at Life Beat, Inc. Training Center. An AHA course completion card will be issued by Life Beat when both parts are successfully completed.
